Ad campaign checklist

To successfully launch an ad campaign, you need to be compliant with several requirements. Before you begin, make sure you have completed the following steps:

  • Set Google Chrome for Android or Safari for iOS as the default web browser on your device.

  • Allow pop-ups in your browser.

If pop-ups are blocked, you will see a corresponding warning when launching ads.

  • Make sure you have your Meta Business Manager. If you don't have one, you won't be able to choose your Facebook Page when launching your ads.

You can always create your Business Manager account directly from the app (see the screenshot below). When creating, please, avoid using words like "Meta," "Facebook," or "FB" in the name. It is recommended to use the name of your business or online shop.

  • Enable two-factor authentication in your Meta Business Manager.

  • Make sure your Facebook Business Manager is in good standing. Otherwise, you will see a corresponding warning during the ad launch.

If your account got restricted (common case for the first time advertisers), open up the page https://business.facebook.com and activate the desktop version of the site.  

Go to Facebook Account Overview page (or follow the route https://business.facebook.com →  All tools → Business Support Home → Overview).

Tap Continue request and follow the instructions. You will be prompted to upload an image of your ID/passport and/or a selfie.

Make sure your Ad account is in good standing. In case your Ad Account is restricted, follow the route Account Overview → Meta Business Account → Ad account and tap Resolve issue, then follow the instructions. Payment issues need to be resolved without any alternatives. 

In several cases, however, you can create another Ad account. Avoid using words like "Meta," "Facebook," or "FB" in the name.

  • Ensure that you have enabled push notifications for the Aleph Express app. This allows you to track important changes in your advertising campaign.
