How to set up sections on the home page

Section is a visually highlighted block on the home page that contains some specific information.

The following sections can be displayed on the home page: Collections, Text and Image, Products, and Video.  

To manage sections, go to Settings → Customize design

→  Theme editor

→  Sections.

How to set up Collections section 

Сollections section is a block that displays the names of collections and the assigned images, leading (when clicked) to the corresponding collection of products.

To set up the Collections section on the home page, tap the 3 dots icon and select Edit.

Set the size of collection images.

If necessary, set up the background color for the collections section. You can select one of the suggested options or select your color option by tapping +.

Then tap the Save button.

How to set up Products section

Products section is a block of product cards under a common heading.

To set up the Products section on the home page, tap the 3 dots icon, and select Edit.

Change the block name (ex. Sale, New, Best price, etc.)

Select the necessary collection and the products from it will be displayed on the home page.

Set the size of product images.

Then, if necessary, set up the background color for the section. You can select one of the suggested options or select your color option by tapping +.

 When everything is ready, tap the Save button.

How to set up the Text and Image section 

Text and Image section is a block combining visual and text information. Use it to promote your brand, particular product or special offer. 

To add the section, tap the Add section button

and select Text and Image.

Tap Add image to upload the necessary image.

Add title and description.

Then, if necessary, set up the image position (relevant for the desktop version of the online shop), and the background color for the section.

Tap Save.

How to set up the Video section

In the Video section, you can upload your shop's intro video or product review video. 

Top add the Video section to the home page, tap Add section. Select Video.

Add the YouTube URL.

Add the title and description, if necessary.

Set up the position (relevant for the desktop version of the online shop), and the background color. 

Tap Save.

How to set up the FAQ section

FAQ section is a block on the home page where you cover the most popular questions from your customers. This way you show your care for your customers, and save your own time.  

To add the FAQ section, tap the Add section button in the Manage sections tab

and select FAQ.

Add the title of the section and its description. 

Then, if necessary, set up the background color for the section.

Tap Save.

Let us start adding questions and answers to them. Tap Add question.

Then enter question and provide answer to it.

Tap the Save button.

To add another question, tap the Add question button again.

Sort the questions, if necessary. Tap the Sort button.

Holding the Drag and Drop icon, drag the questions in the required order. Then tap Save.

To edit the question, tap the 3 dots icon and select Edit.

To edit the name or description of the section, tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.

How to sort sections

You can change the order in which sections are displayed on the home page. To do this, tap Sort on Manage sections screen.

Hold the Drag-and-drop icon and drag the blocks in the required order. Tap Save.

Also, you can change the section's order by taping 3 dots and selecting Move up or Move down. 

How to set up the Buy now with 1-Click button

The Buy now with 1-Click button allows the customer to quickly place an order for 1 product without using the shopping cart.

The customer will only need to enter their name and phone number. Then the merchant connects with the customer and clarifies the order details.

By default, the Buy now with 1-Click button isn’t active. 

To activate it, go to the Customize design →  Theme editor →  Sections → Products.

Activate the Buy now with 1-Click toggle button, and tap Save.
